It took a round or two to get the hang of things, but once we got going it was so much fun! Played with a mix of fans of Survivor, and a couple people who have never watched, but that didn't seem to affect the gameplay all that much!

Great game to bring out to get a game night started - easy and quick to learn, or to switch it up after playing something else!

Very excited to host the next game night and introduce more people to this fun game!!

Exploding Kittens has yet another party game hit on their hands with Survivor: The Tribe Has Spoken! The game is a love letter to the TV show of the same name, and you can see in every detail just how much care was taken to make a game that deeply respected its inspiration. The game captures the deceit and dealmaking that causes the show to be so enthralling, and in doing so carves a place of its own in the party game genre. While listed as playable with 3-6 players the game really hits its stride with four or more players (which leads to more opportunities for dealmaking and a larger Final Council). The game is a bit more instruction heavy than most Exploding Kittens games and greatly benefits from a basic knowledge of Survivor, which are the only things keeping it from a five star review.

I like the premise as I am a big old school survivor fan! I didn't know all the players and I felt it needed more cards to make more twists and turns.

Personally, I've only watched the first two seasons of Survivor but the new game captures the intensity of making and breaking alliances with the other players. We only played with 3-4 people. While it was very fun with the number of people, definitely being able to take advantage of all the teams would make for a very fun and dynamic game. The entire family loved it and we have played it multiple times already and the specific request of my 9 year-old son who is quite strategic, I must say.

I give it a solid 4/5. Why the loss of one star? The main feedback is mainly around rules clarifications. We all felt that the rules need to clarify situations where players have either not enough cards or no cards at all to be stolen (either due to card actions or at the beginning of each player's turn). For example, if a card says steal two cards from a player can the stealer, steal from two different players or does it have to be from only one player? This becomes more evident with cards like the Numbers Game where more than two players can be involved.

Otherwise, we love it!

Decent game first time played with just 4 people second time with a larger group. Much better with more people. give more options of people to team up with. Rewards and twists are fun and i like the politics that go along with it. Overall would recommend. Just make sure your well liked prior to playing or you don’t stand a chance lol.
